The main characters include Sitting Bull - Grand Chief of the Sioux Nations in the North West Territories, Lieut.Gen. Phil Sheridan U.S. Army - who was given the responsibility of securing all Indian tribes into government controlled reservations. The Canadian west owes a debt of gratitute to Commissioner (NWMP) James Macleod-who with the help of Crowfoot Chief of the Blackfoot Nations managed to remove the threat of Indian wars from the North West Territories. This account (fictionalized but with real characters from our history) is a good read and recommended for 2008..
